Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Fred Boost Booster SeatCustomer Review: great booster for the right price Summary: 5 Stars
This booster seat is great. What you see is what you get and it works well for preschoolers who just need that extra few inches at the dinner table. Toddlers, excessively wiggle-y kids and those who still need help getting into their seat are proabably better off using something with safety straps. We had a strap-to-the-chair type highchair for toddler-hood. This seat was great around age 2.5 - 3 when she wanted to climb onto the chair herself but couldn't navigate into the highchair booster.
Moreover, this is the least expensive booster I have seen. It is super light-weight and cleans up easily with a soapy sponge. After a year the decals do start peeling off a bit but this does not affect functionality, nor does it leave any sticky residue on the seat. Cute product and great price.
Customer Review: It works. Summary: 5 Stars
Got this for my daughter after we decided to not replace our 2nd broken Kaboost with yet another fragile Kaboost.
I wish it were a bit wider and longer so that it would extend the length of the seat, but not enough to knock off a star. It is working fine placed against the front edge of the seat with a big gap between the booster seat and the back of the chair.
There were enough reviews of the print wearing off quickly, so we are going to try leaving the shrink wrap on for a while (update - the shrink wrap idea it still working just fine 2 months later)
Of cource my children have never seen a phone book before, so they have no clue about the double meaning, but they have sat upon cookbooks to get a boost before, so they get the basic concept.
Customer Review: We're sill loving it after 2 months! Summary: 5 Stars
UPDATE: One year in and the product shows some wear and a small amount of peeling on the image. We use these boosters three times a day, everyday. We have now retired our first set to Gandma's house and got ourselves a new set. These things are great!!!
Bought a couple of these boosters to take on vacation and when we visit other's homes. They worked so well we swapped them out for our regular boosters at home too. The kids enjoy them, they don't scratch our chairs, and they are commented on regularly. We have not yet seen any of the peeling that others spoke of.
Customer Review: Practical Conversation Piece Summary: 5 Stars
I think I've gotten more compliments and comments about this product than any other I've purchased for my son. Not only is it adorable, it's pretty practical as well. It is a dense foam material so it is extremely light and great for taking places. It came shrink wrapped in clear plastic, and after reading some of the reviews from people who had the black printing rub off, I just left it that way and it's held up really well! My 20 month old sits in it easily and since it isn't something he has to be strapped into I think it will be a product we keep using as he gets older.
Customer Review: I love this booster Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this booster to replace the one that I had had for years that clips to the chair. I was tired of finding weeks old food under the old booster seat and I was tired of the weeks old food ruining my chairs. I love this new "yellow book" booster. It is so easy to clean around and under and so portable and sturdy.
