Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Fox Run Ten Piece Gingerbread House Cookie Cutter Bake SetCustomer Review: A hit with the grandkids! Summary: 5 Stars
I used this kit to make gingerbread houses for each of my 4 grandchildren. I let the kids do the decorating. They were absolutely thrilled with the houses! The cookie cutters worked great - I had no problem with them whatsoever. I used the gingerbread recipe from Martha Stewart's 2008 Holiday Special Issue and glued the pieces together with lots of royal icing. The entire project WAS time consuming, but I would tackle it again just to see the looks on my grandchildrens' faces.
Customer Review: house Summary: 5 Stars
The gingerbread cutter is really nice. I am looking forward to using it. I am thinking of doing a Valentine gingerbread house just to be able to use it before next Christmas.

I love how big this house is, it is the perfect size for decorating and display!
Customer Review: You get what you pay for... Summary: 4 Stars
This set does exactly what it says it does. It is not nearly as nice as some of the molds you can buy (Basically large cookie cutters) but it works well enough. I was able to make houses without problems. A good set to use with kids. Inexpensive and fun to decorate.
Customer Review: Good for kids Summary: 3 Stars
These cutters make a cute little house but it is not for perfectionists. The cutters are flimsy and go a little cockeye when you are cutting the dough, making for a slightly off-kilter house. But my 5-year-old was the architect and she didn't seem to notice. These cutters will probably only last a few seasons so if you're looking for something sturdier that will last a make a presentation-worthy house these aren't it. If you're just looking to have fun with your kids these cutters will do the job.
