I used these over a dozen times for my gluten free English Muffins.
They work, what else does one need to know. I've never owned rings so I have nothing to compare.
I didn't know if I should oil them first, so I oiled some and not others and it didn't make a difference.
I use a knife to get them out, no problem, and it might be a gluten free issue anyway.
I did soak them for a day or two after some bread was stuck to it, and they didn't rust. I didn't soak them because I needed to, just was lazy and didn't get around to cleaning yet.
I clean them and put them back into the boxes and store them until I use them again the next week.
