All the items were as expected. They did not look as nice as some others that were advertised, but they did the job. I am new to the canning and pressure cooking world so I wish that I would have purchased a set that had included the Ball Canning Guide as many people have since told me that is the "Bible" for canning food. This set does include important pieces in used while canning. However, the set seems really cheaply made. I don't think most of the pieces will last very long. The tongs are short and the metal seems flimsy. The plastic on the jar opener doesn't fit well over the metal. The wide-mouth funnel is just lightweight plastic that seems like it could warp with enough heat.
