This is just what I was looking for, and it was inexpensive. Whether I am making spaghetti for one, two, three, or more, I can use this as a gauge so that I can be consistent with the amount I cook.
I use the 1, 2, and 3 holes as a guide to let me use the amount of spaghetti that works best for me. For example, I can use a "tight" one, a "loose" 2, or a combination of 1, 2, and 3 to get what I want based on past experience.
