I use this almost daily to peel apples or pears for my children. They love to help with the peeling. I originally bought it for making apple pies so that they could help me. It is so fast. It probably takes about 10-15 seconds to peel and apple. It does it in one long curly strip. My kids like to take the curlies outside and leave them for the birds rabbits and squirrels. It doesn't do as good of a job on pears as it does on apples because pears are sometimes oddly shaped with little bumps or indentations but it does a good enough job and you can go back with a knife and get the few small areas it may miss. I have not tried it with potatoes yet but I am sure it will do a great job with them as well.Customer Review: wow. amazing

this is my first experience with an apple peeler. I normally peel by hand, and saw the great reviews here. I like apples, but don't like peeling. i thought i'd be healthier eating more of them, but couldn't bring myself to peel. I never thought i'd buy one of these, because i don't normally bake a lot of apple dishes (mostly because i don't like peeling- did i mention that?) anyway, i'm shocked this worked at all... and, SO WELL. weird. in about 5 seconds flat, one long, thin peel, with little waste (much better than when I do it with a knife, for sure). It also came with a core-er device. my kids were excited, and i ended up peeling about 5 apples. then, i had to make a pie. great device.Customer Review: Works Great

When I read the reviews for this product I was a little weary because it looks cheap. Then when I actually received the item- it looked even more cheap then it did in the pictures- I thought it was going to break if i touched it. But then I tried it and it worked PERFECTLY. I used an apple and it goes up one side around and down the other side of the apple- didnt miss a single piece of skin. It also came with replacement blades... I thought the hand crank would be a pain to deal with if your doing alot of apples (for a pie or something) but that's not the case- very easy product to use. Also it comes with the slicer but not the corer. NBD. Overall good product.Customer Review: Works great! Just as described.

This cute little peeler looks like nothing special, but is super easy to use, clean and use again. It assembles very simply, doesn't require clamping, stays put pretty well even if the suction cups temporarily let go. Mine didn't come with the core ejector...not sure what that is anyway. Apparently, the assembly line does have a little troube getting everything put in the box sometimes. I read another review that was missing the slicer. Mine did come with a couple of extra blades and I have already used it on hundreds of apples without any sign of the blade getting dull. Very happy with the item...well worth the price.Customer Review: Great Purchase!

I love to bake and had been thinking about buying an apple peeler to cut down on my prep time. This product is deceiving because its looks more like a toy than an appliance . After reading the positive customer feedback and seeing the reasonable price I decided to give it a try. As soon as it arrived I had to prove to myself it really worked and much to my surprise it did the job in the blink of an eye, performed the task in seconds and was easy and fun to use.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a piece of equipment that was compact, easy to use and an incredible time saver.
