I ordered this on behalf of someone else who wanted to make their own yogurt. I used it several times myself, to show them how to make it.
It works fine, though the timer thing is useless, it's not a timer at all, just a reminder type of thing.
Be sure to make some yogurt cheese too. That stuff is YUMMY, and a lot less calories than cream cheese.
Once the yogurt is made, I like to stir in some real Vanilla extract (not the imitation) then add some honey and cinnamon. A little honey goes a long way! Then I add fresh blueberries and oatmeal, enough oatmeal to make it really thick. Let all that soak overnight, then you have a delicious breakfast that can be eaten cold or hot (in the microwave). Once the oatmeal soaks in the yogurt overnight, it tastes heavenly. I put mine in individual cups, so my breakfasts are stacked and made for a week.
