I have had this scale for nine months now. It is a gem. It goes off automatically; so one less thing for me to remember. The digits are large enough to read easily without having to bend down. I have used it with equal success for weighing mail and food. It works so simply that a cursory read of the instructions is all that's needed. I like the way that you can subtract the weight of a container in which you weigh food so that only the weight of the food is displayed. I have decided to give this item as a gift since it worked so well for me. We have used the Escali Primo Digital Scale for well over a year now and have nothing but good things to say about it. We will likely replace it with the same model when it comes time to replace this one but there is no sign of this being needed anytime soon. Here are my observations:
+ Fairly Small Footprint
+ Very Accurate
+ Easy to Tare
+ 11lb Weight Capacity
+ Easy to Read Digital Display
This is a great scale for everyday use in the kitchen and we have also used it for our kid's science projects as well.

I love this scale! I've been using it almost every day for the past two years, and haven't had any problems with it thus far. The battery hasn't even run out yet! It is a great size for using in the kitchen as it is lightweight and not bulky yet can easily fit a large bowl on it. It also works well for weighing letters and packages. I found it to be very accurate, within +/- 1g. I love that it won't automatically turn off until after 4 minutes, so it doesn't shut off while in the middle of a recipe. It's very easy to use, and at this price range, I don't think you could get any better!Customer Review: Excellent and accurate compact digital scale

I purchased this scale mainly to use for measuring two part RTV urethane rubber and various epoxies. It can be switched between ounces and grams plus it has a tare function. That way I can put the mixing container on the platform, zero the scale and then pour a certain amount of "Part A". I can then zero the scale again and add in the same amount of "Part B", etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this scale is more accurate than I had expected given it's low price. I think it would be tough to find a scale that would give a better value.Customer Review: Awesome is the word for it

The reviewer who called this "awesome" got it right. I bought it in red to match our kitchen walls and tile, and it looks great. My old pre-digital scale was very compact, as is this one, but I needed a scale to go down to .1 oz (for homebrewing, among other kitchen adventures). I took some hop packets from the freezer and played with it -- seems accurate and works fast. The tare function is hugely valuable and the toggle between US and metric makes switching a breeze.
Really one of the best $25 investments I've ever made!
