Customer Review: Great Kitchen Scale
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great scale. It's big enough to hold a large bowl, but small enough that it doesn't take up too much space on the counter. I love that the top plate is removable so it's easy to wash. It's very easy to use with only one button to ever push, and the display is easy to read and doesn't easily become obscured since it's to the side. It would be nice to switch measurement modes without having to turn it off first, but that's such a minor thing for me since it only takes 1-2 seconds to do so. I generally keep it in gram mode anyway. My only other minor complaint is that it takes a smidgen longer than I would like to register the weight when pouring an ingredient into a bowl. When doing so, I find it best to stop a bit earlier than you think, and then add in small increments so you don't go over what you need. If you just keep pouring until you see your desired weight, you've probably poured too much already because you don't get the true readout until you've stopped pouring. Overall I am very happy with this scale, and it's a major upgrade from my previous Polder 77-90 utility scale which was not digital and would only measure a little over a pound. Highly recommended.
