Customer Review: Beautiful Teapot and it Works Great with Loose Leaf Tea

I picked up one of these at my local supermarket (it was absolutely irresistable)along with some loose leaf Jasmine tea - Wow! TIP: The instructions say DO NOT pour boiling hot water onto the tea because it "burns" the tea and makes it bitter. It says you should wait about 2 minutes, for it to cool very slightly THEN pour it.
I tried this and YES! there is a HUGE taste difference when you pour boiling water - the tea does taste bitter... amazing eh?
This tea pot is very beautiful and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This is a wonderful tea experience. As the tea flower blooms you watch the green tea leaves expand. The flowere that are small inside start to hydrate and the flowers fully expand into a wonderful arrangement. The flowers are all sewn together in different shapes and styles so you get to appreciate a unique display of art everytime you have tea.
After the tea is fully bloomed simply pour everyone a glass. Then pour additional hot water into the pot so that the tea can be displayed on the table.
The gift canister is magnificiently made. It is obvious that skilled craftsmen spent a lot of time to create this gift canister that holds all the 12 teas.
The entire experience was fantastic.

Initially intrigued by the concept of flowering tea, I purchased Primula's flowering tea set and glass pot. Wow, was I in for a treat. The tea's incredibly delicious and the entire concept is so very pretty. I feel decadent and posh just brewing and drinking it.
It's a fantastic antidote to the stresses of a long, workday, and a great conversation piece at the end of a dinner party. As the weather gets warmer, I'm looking forward to icing the tea and enjoying it as a mid-day refresher (as one reviewer recommended).
I just bought my mom and grandma sets of their own for Mother's Day. Bonus: the set is so luxe-looking that they're going to think that I spent way more than I did.

The flowing tea set is awesome. The tea pot is a nice clear glass pot with a glass lid. It holds about 3 coffee mug size glasses if it's filled the whole way. The tea comes with a description of the benefits of each flower. Making the tea is simple too. Just boil some water, then let it cool for 30 to 60 seconds before pouring it over one of the tea balls (you can put the tea ball in the glass infuser if you want, but you don't really need too). If the water is too hot (still boiling) then the tea will taste bitter. If the water is too cold then flower will not bloom properly. My flowers were good for 3 solid steeps. My wife often jokes that I don't put enough thought into the gifts I buy for her. I surprised her for her birthday with breakfast in bed and the feature was the glass pot with a blooming flower inside. She hadnt seen one before and thought that alot more had gone into it then just me dropping something into boiling water.
I've since had my mom and sister add it to their "GIFTS TO GET ME" list...thanks to the Primula gift set I now know what to get them for Mothers day.
We use it alot. The kids love it. We actually made iced tea for a recent bbq. We used the glass insert to infuse citrus into tea, it now has us wondering what other flavor combinations would taste good.
