This is a very nice sized wine cooler: Doesn't take up much space and works well - FOR ABOUT 11 MONTHS!! From what I've read, there seems to be a common problem: At about one year, they quit working properly. The problem seems to be the quality of the blower fans used in the Emerson units. Attempting to get support, help or parts from Emerson is pointless, as you cannot reach them and they do not respond to messages. Replacement parts should not be expensive, but once again, they are needed if you can find them. If you buy your wine, chill it, drink it, and then pitch the cooler you will be much happier!Customer Review: Stopped working after 15 months

I wish I would have seen the reviews here on Amazon before I bought this last year at Target. The unit looks great and works great for a little while, but after a year (15 months for me), the refrigeration unit died, and it couldn't cool lower than 68 degrees. This is a piece of junk. The first one we got never turned on, we exchanged it for a second, which kept bottles somewhat cool, but never made it to the set temperature. After a year, the second one stopped working entirely, and was now out of warranty. We will not be buying another one of this kind.Customer Review: Stopped working properly at 9 months!

Like others, I was pleased with the cooler until it stopped working properly. No matter what temperature I set, it stays at 64 degrees. Sure it was rather inexpensive but if you average cost per bottle stored --- it is actually rather pricey. Very disappointing!
