I bought this and at first had problems with the eggs coming out broken, but, after getting the hang of it, I get a perfectly peeled egg 99.9% of the time. Here are my own suggestions---small end gets the hole cut through it and make sure the skin of the egg is punched through. MOST IMPORTANT SUGGESTION---make sure the "fat end of egg" is cracked plenty---remember, this is the part of the egg shell that the whole egg goes through. One last suggestion, starts to wear off after several uses---BUY NEW for sure. Once I realized the "big end" of egg is where the whole egg goes through and I crack it or roll this part plenty, I never or rarely have a problem getting a perfectly peeled egg.--Hope this helps u guys.
