I purchased this at the same time as Chef'sChoice AngleSelect Knife Sharpener: Exclusive Black mostly for the kitchen, but I also have sewing scissors. I enjoy cooking and I have quality knives and scissors and I wanted to maintain that quality. I often abuse my kitchen scissors as they are sharp and readily available. I was very pleased that this product brought them back to their former glory even though they had several nicks in the blade. If it wasn't for the several birthday checks I received, I am not sure I would have justified the expense of a scissor and a knife sharpener, but I am thrilled to have them as gifts!Customer Review: sharpen your scissors instead of buying new ones

All those dull old scissors I collected over the years, as they gradually lost their edge, are now SHARP. I stumbled across this product while looking for a knife sharpener. Since I was about to buy yet another pair of scissors, I decided to try it. It really put a good edge on all my shears (except pinking, nail and hair - which it does not sharpen). You have to be somewhat careful holding the blade at the correct angle, as there is a bit of wiggle room under the guide. One practice run with a cheap pair of scissors should suffice, however, and it is wonderful to have really sharp scissors again. Lots of them!Customer Review: Great product, well made, easy to use.

I'm very happy with this purchase. My wife uses scissors quite a bit for her home-based business and it seems like we go through a pair every other month so we've got several dozen pair sitting around needing sharpening. We tired it on a couple pair and the guides worked great and the scissors were very sharp.
Great product, great price, excellent delivery turn-around. This is why I buy a lot from Amazon!

The Scissor Pro is very easy to use and the instructions are clear. The magnetic scissor guide lines up the blade for you. All you have to do is pull the scissor through. When I received it, I must have sharpened 6 pair of scissors. All came out nice and sharp, just like new. I would definitely recommend this product. I am really impressed with this sharpener. As soon as i found out how to tell the difference between knife edge and regular shears I sharpened all of my upholstery shears and they cut like new. I recommend highly but you need to know what type of edge your scissors have and, believe me, it is not that apparent.
