Customer Review: Goodbye Ice Trays!

This is a passionate review for me, because I've for years loathed making ice, unfortunatly for the local appliance store, my fridge was new & otherwise worked perfectly, so buying a new refridgerator was not in my plan just for the sake of getting an automatic ice maker, yet everytime I had to endure the process of making ice cubes, (you know the drill, right gang? cracking the ice trays, getting bits & pieces of frozen h2o all over the place, fillng up the trays, ever so gingerly placing them back into the freezer, the occasional water spillage on the floor, gawd! I just hated it-
Then one day, tooling around on Amazon I checked out portable ice maker, & discovered this nifty little unit. I figured I would give it a shot after reading the other reviews, & they were right on.
This machine performs as described & workes really nicely. It's easy & straightforward to operate, & I did have ice cubes within about 12 minutes after setting it up properly (which requires about an hours "idle time" once you locate it in the desired location, due to the freon needing to settle (according to the instructions, for which I'm a stickler for following, especially when written in clear English!)
So, if you are looking for a really wicky-jive-O automatic ice maker, and the ability to choose which size ice cube you want, and understand that this is ONLY an ice-maker, NOT a freezer! this unit is worthy of your consideration. I would highly recommend it to anybody considering a portable ice maker.
