While doing a search all over the net the EatSmart Digital Nutrition Scale always came out. After reading all the good reviews that this little machine was getting and its affordable price I decide to order one.
All I can say is I should had order this long time ago!! since without a dout this should be in every home in america for those who are trying to lose and control weight. The information that EatSmart Scale gives you is super informative compare to you "regular" scale which now clearly doesn't show any helpfull information at all.
I have talked to a lot of my friends about it and a lot of them didn't even know that you can get a scale like that and they were even shocked at what I paid for it.
The only thing that I was worried was the top glass part, since I have a 3 year old that loves to cook, other than that this product is a MUST HAVE!!!

I received this for Christmas and I am very pleased with it. I love the clean modern look, and the large, flat, glass platform holds a lot of food. I like having glass as the food contact material rather than plastic--easy to clean and sanitize. (I usually use a piece of plastic wrap on the platform to make clean up even easier.) At first glance I thought it looked a bit intimidating--so many buttons and information display areas, but I found it quite simple to use, and the instruction booklet is clearly written. I needed a scale that was easy for my middle-aged eyes to read as the lighting in my kitchen leaves much to be desired, and this one is adequate. The display labels (calories, carbs, protein, etc.) are extremely tiny, but the food counts are quite easy to read. This scale has the look and feel of an expensive one, but is moderately priced, so I can heartily recommend it.Customer Review: Outstanding quality, eat smart nutritional scale

Having high blood pressure, type II diabetis, sleep apena,and 3rd stage kidney failure, I desperately needed a scale which showed my potassum, phosphous, and sodium levels in my food intake daily.I bought a book or two, trying to find potassum, phosphous levels in food, very hard to find. The book I did find was so big and cumbersom I became discouraged having to use it. I finally got on line and started looking at the different nutritional scales and found the EatSmart scales showed me every thing I needed. Since using the EatSmart scale I have noticed a decrease in the swelling in my body. I must say I feeling better these days, even exersizing on the new galeana gym I bought. When your sick, it's nice to know people outthere are creating valuable equipment to help you get a grip on life again.
I'm pleased with my purchase of the Eatsmart Nutritional Scale.

This is a handy little device. I decided to start monitoring what I eat when I started a new exercise program and this scale makes it a piece of cake...although I've given up the cake. I've very quickly gained a sense for proper serving size and the value of various foods, both positive and negative. There's a slight learning curve - because it does a lot - but it's functions are mostly intuitive. The instructions are clear and you can keep track of just about every nutrient you want. The book included about nutrition has some good tips in it too. Besides its functionality it also looks good and doesn't take up much space. My only complaint is that the readout can be a bit hard to read if light isn't shining on it at the right angle. Download the Excel spreadsheet EatSmart offers on their Web site. I wanted a scale that was able not only to count weight and calories but also was able to give me an idea of how much fat and cholesterol I was consuming. I didn't think there was such a product until I came across this one. Not only was it able to calculate total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol but also sodium and calcium as well as a few others. I was amazed to find out how hard it was to get the daily recommended percentage for calcium when you don't consume milk. With this scale I can balance my meals, zero in on calories and fats, avoid cholesterol, and confirm my need for calcium supplements as well as multivitamins when necessary. Not only have I lost weight but I feel better knowing I'm achieving optimum nutrition. This is a great product and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to keep track of their nutritional values.
