Customer Review: No more plastic bags!

I got fed up with the mountain of plastic bags we had at home. I bought these mainly because they were plain, i.e. they are free of logos, sayings, etc. and my spouse refused to use our Trader Joes bags in other stores. (Ok, I admit it, that is kind of tacky.)
These reusable shopping bags have proven to be very practical and durable. I do like my Trader Joes logo bags a bit more because they have a navy blue panel on the bottom and lower sides, which hides the dirt better than this solid, light colored, bag.
Over all, I highly recommend them.

This bag isn't a bargain compared with others out there and it isn't as strong as the $1 bags I've picked up at Meijer. However, the Meijer bags are made in China of synthetic materials. These are made in India with the fair trade label--one hopes that this doesn't simply mean they make $1.50/day rather than $1/day. And they're 100% cotton. I bought these for co-workers for Christmas. They're nice, but I think that one can do better without buying environmentally offensive or Chinese goods. I ordered four EcoBags, one of which frayed at a seam when washed. When I related this information to EcoBags, I received an apology via e-mail and within a couple of days received a new bag. This bag withstood the wash test and I am very happy with their bags (which are a very good size) and their prompt response. I would recommend these bags to others.Customer Review: Great looking. Not much to say really. These bags are very sturdy and have a great feel. The stitching and construction is heavy and seems like it will last forever.
I've seen other cheaper bags, but they didn't really compare to the Eco Bags.
If you need some canvas bags, these are the ones to get.

Nice canvas bags, although they shrunk up a lot after the first wash. But they are durable and a still a good size for groceries.
