Can crusher works smoothly and doesn't require a lot of force. (Much better than the "stomp it flat with your foot" method). Cans fall directly into collection bin without a miss. WOW so nice to have this with the crusher, they fall right into the can, it holds a lot and you just pull it off the crusher and dump into recycle bin. We host poker night a lot and boy does this help with the usual overflowing recycle bin! We love it!Customer Review: works great

This is a great space saver. We used to crush the cans ourselves and put them in a large garbage can, but the garbage can was unsightly and too large to put in our pantry. This canister attaches easily and slides out easily, making emptying it a breeze.Customer Review: Bueno

It is not necessary to get this if you buy the crusher, you can easily engineer something yourself. That being said it works well, and comes with a fancy American flag decal. I purchased this system to start recycling aluminum cans. It is compact but holds a lot of crushed cans. I have it mounted low enough a small child could use it. It pulls very easy and I am quite pleased with it.
