The Sonic Blade cordless electric knife is heavier than my regular electric knife so it took a bit to get comfortable maneuvering it relative to the turkey when cutting off the drumstick and thigh. With a regular roast there were no awkwardness. It had excellent power and overall, not having to be close to an outlet is a definite advantage. I love this knife! It takes a little getting used to at first. My only complaint is that it's a little heavy, but I love being able to cut through just about anything! Also it cuts through foods without smashing... it practically separates as opposed to sawing through (bread, tomatoes, meat). This is a decent quality knife. It cuts very well. I have used both the meat carving blade and the bread blade since purchasing , and they both cut with ease. It is also very reasonably priced for a powered carving blade. The only drawback I have experienced is that the battery must remain plugged in continuously, or it drains quickly between uses.Customer Review: Great cordless knife but . . .

Got 2 of them . . .one great and the other d.o.a. in the box. The company sent me a knew one right away that work's fine. Haven't used a ton . . .but 1st time charge the battery ran out fast . . .but we'll see. I did a great job though!! I have used this knife twice so far, the last time at Thanksgiving. It did a wonderful job on the turkey and it was very nice not to have to deal with a cord. I have not tried it on beef yet but I think it has enough power to handle that as well. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
