I bought this knife as a gift for my Mother. It ended up saving me alot of time and energy as I have done most of the carving during the holidays. This knife comes with changable blades that work well for what they are recommended for. A cordless powered carving knife is the way to go. There are no wires in your way and you don't need an extension cord to carve the Christmas turkey in the dining room. Can you imagine? Great knife, stays sharp, convenient to use.Customer Review: good little tool

I love the fact that it can just stay out on the counter to cut bread etc. No cord is a great feature for this. Battery life seems good enough and power to do what I have asked it so far. I bought the Cusinart corded knife w/ it to use on the heavy duty jobs.
The best part is where it came from Googol Shop. They are awesome! The first one I got had a blade issue and they replaced the entire unit fast. Can't say enough about Googol Shop.

Amazons part of this purchase was great, good price and it came quickly. The problem is with the manufacturer of the cordless knife. I wanted a spare battery and after several e-mails and phone calls I finely got to their parts distributor. They told me they no longer sell batteries for the knife. That's curious since they still sell the knife. Maybe Amazon needs to put pressure on the SonicBlade manufacturer.
