We have had one for years...I think the other reviewer who complained must have a freezer that is not very cold...Ours has always worked well. We need a new handle because my husband let it freeze up too long and tried to turn the handle anyway...Duh...So I can't complain about the product. Believe it or not, I've had mine for 10 years and I still think it's the greatest. All we ever want is a small amount of ice cream and I've been making 2 cups; we like it after it has set in the maker for about 20 minutes after stirring up, not frozen hard the next day. This is the easiest ice cream maker ever! It doesn't make a huge amount, but it is so simple, quick and easy. It is the perfect size for our family. Just pour the ingredients in the frozen bowl, put the lid on, stir it every few minutes and after about 20 minutes, you have frozen homemade ice cream!Customer Review: I love my Donvier!!

This is the second Donvier I have owned...the first was a gift and was used for well over 20 years before it was retired. I was very happy when I found this one on Amazon.com. Friends and family love the ice cream and it's quick and easy as long as you remember to pre-freeze the container. The only downside is that it only makes enough for 4 generous servings or 6 small ones.
