Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Debbie Meyer Green BagsCustomer Review: Tried the rest, came back for the best Summary: 5 Stars
Tried some off brands of "produce bags", and was disappointed with results and overall quality. I believe these are definitely worth the money. I use these combined with charcoal discs, and get a significant amount more life out of my produce. I also highly recommend investing in a plastic bag dryer (Amazon sells them through Gaiam among other companies). I use produce wash to wash/rinse my bags, and can use them several times.
Customer Review: AMAZING! Summary: 5 Stars
I found these at a local health food store and they're amazing! They keep fruits and vegetables fresh long after they would have been thrown away otherwise. I've got mandarin oranges sitting on my counter in a Green Bag that have been there for over TWO WEEKS - and they're just as fresh as the day I bought them. I'm sure I'll get another week or more out of them still.
Won't be without these now that I've tried them.
Customer Review: AMAZING BAGS !!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have no idea where these other reviewers find anything negative at all to say about these bags. They're obviously doing something wrong !!
I've used these bags over and over again on many types of fruits and vegetables. I'm on a diet where I need to keep a lot of vegetables for a number of days.
They work Extremely well !! I'm usually skeptical of TV products, but this is definitely a Keeper !!!
Customer Review: Debbie Meyer green bags work great! Summary: 5 Stars
TOTALLY AGREE, Important - moisture-condensation is the enemy. This is the key to longer veggie shelf life. These work great for almost all veggies. I've used these bags for over a year. Extends the life of veggies by minimum of 2 weeks. You can reuse these bags at least 10 times or more. Just wash and let dry, mark top with a magic marker to keep count. I don't have to go to the store as often. Love these!
Customer Review: They work great for us! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought a set of the Debbie Meyer green bags a few weeks ago and so far they have definitely extended the life of our produce. We have had excellent results with bananas, lettuce, lemons, apples and green peppers. I bought bananas that were a little too ripe for my taste (they had no green on them) on a Sunday and by Thursday they still had not ripened any further. I definitely think they are worth the money.
