I'm wondering if those who've had poor results with the Green bag are following the directions. It seems the issue is moisture and, if you read the directions, you're not to close the bag tightly. This would, I should think allow the moisture out. I keep the bags loose and have had great results.
I also LOVE the bread bags. Now, these you DO close tightly. We had cinnamon buns three days after purchase that were as soft and fresh as they day they were baked.

I've been using the Debbie Meyer green Bags for about a year now and I really like them. When used properly they keep fruits and vegetables twice as long (at least) as if you would not use one at all. I was so happy with them that I purchased a box of them and had it sent to my daughter, who also likes them. Now she is telling the staff of nurses where she works what a great product it is... so Debbie is getting good word-of-mouth advertising as well. Thanks. I cannot keep cilantro, onions, spinach lettuce, grapes and jalapenos fresh without these bags!! These vegetables definitely last twice as long in the Debbie Meyer or Evert Fresh Green Bag and the fact that the bags are reusable is awesome! At times I have left lettuce in the bag for waaay too long, but I was able to throw away the pieces touching the bag and eat the rest...I was pleasantly surprised and for the price of these bags, they more than pay for themselves!Customer Review: They DO work!

Okay, I was very skeptical that this product would work - but give them a try. I used celery as my test. I never have been able to keep celery fresh for more than 2 days before getting soft and tasteless. Put the celery in a bag, closed the bag and came back 2 days later - still fresh and crisp. Waited 4 more days - still crisp. Waited another week - WOW - fresh and crisp - I was sold.
Been using these bags for a year and am still impressed.

I am a Personal Chef that owns my own Personal Chef Business. I use these bags all the time to keep my produce fresh. This is huge savings for me. When I buy produce it goes bad sometime faster then I can use it. So, using these green bags have helped me be able to keep produce longer in my commercial kitchen. I do recommend using these bags. I don't understand why anyone would say they don't work. I use them all the time and they have always worked for me.
