I was extremely skeptical until I saw my daugher using them when I visited her. I don't know if they last 30 days, but I was there for 2 weeks and the strawberries were just as fresh as when I first arrived. They weren't molded or anything inside or out. The bananas were still yellow and good on the inside after a week. These are things that normally spoil quickly. I bought some when I got home, and my very ripe peaches are still just the way I bought them 6 days ago, ripe and juicy without becoming mushy. Remember to wash your fruits and vegetables before you use them and don't put them wet into the bag!Customer Review: Green bags are the smartest kitchen choice I've ever made

Using these bags saves me from wasting the foods I buy. In the past, I've thrown out more than I ate and it has cost me a lot of money. Since I found these, I decided that the money they save me will even out if I start buying fresh, organic foods. Not only do I feel healthier than ever for switching the produce I consume, but it comes at almost no cost. The bags are washable and reusable, and they really do extend the life of all of the produce I buy. It's quite remarkable, and I'm going to start handing them out as gifts.
I hope you'll give them a try, because they really have helped me.

Important - moisture is the enemy.
I've been using these bags for over 8 months and they really extend the
life of my produce. The important thing is to make sure you limit the amount of moisture inside the bag. I put in one or two paper towels
before closing the bag. Every now and then, I'll check to replace the
towel when it feels wet, and wipe away any condensation in the bag.
Before I learned this trick, I had some disappointing results, but now
they work great!

I agree with the comments about bananas. They don't work well.

I don't know what's been happening with all those folks who say these bags don't work...unless they're not following the instructions. Do NOT wash the fruit before you store it in the refrigerator. Only rinse the fruit just before consuming it. I've had cherries keep in an excellent condition for over 1 1/2 months; blueberries easily lasted 3 times as long as usual, and the same for apples. I don't refrigerate bananas, so I can't speak for how it works for them. These bags let me buy larger quatities on sale and have them keep in prime conditon until I finish them off. I first saw these bags on tv and did not give it a second thought.
About 3 months ago my wife picked some up at Bed Bath + Beyond and we tried them out. It was actually really exciting the first time we used them... They worked great! The way that I look at it is that if it makes it to Bed Bath and beyond, it must be pretty legit. I own and operate a restaurant in Texas and we started storing our produce in the green bags. I am now able to buy produce in bulk and keep it fresh for longer. The ultimate test was to see if my customers notice.... not one complaint yet...
