Customer Review: Practical and cute... what else could you ask for?

I purchased the pink cupcake courier from my local homegoods store over a year ago. since then, i have used the courier numerous times- for cupcakes, mini appetizers, cookies, and large cakes. i LOVE LOVE LOVE it! it is a very light pink color (with peachy undertones), and always draws attention.
the cupcake holding trays do have pretty deep cups- which i think is great! i always had trouble with my wilton cupcake carrier because the cupcakes would ALWAYS tip over. i still have my wilton, but i use it mainly for cakes and other large desserts. with the cupcake courier, i can pile on frosting and decorations without worrying about getting them messed up. if you're worried about messing them up or getting frosting on your fingers when lifting the cupcakes out of the courier, place a small hard candy (wrapped) or marble (like the ones from the dollar store) at the bottom of each cup before placing the cupcake in it. this will raise them up a little bit for easier removal, but they will still have enough support so they don't fall. i love that i have the option to do this, or utilize the deep cups for taller decorations.
i love the trays for the cupcake courier, as well. they stack nicely and i often use them when refrigerating cupcakes or other small foods, even when i'm not planning to take them anywhere. i have found it very easy to decorate the cupcakes in the trays as well. if i am only taking 24 cupcakes somewhere, i like that i can leave out the third tray, or that i can remove all of the trays and use the courier for tall layer cakes or displays.
yes, the full 3-tiered stacked and closed cupcake courier is heavy- but no more than can be expected when transporting 36 cupcakes! it is large and a bit of a pain to store, but not any more difficult than it would be to store numerous other cupcake containers.
the only adjustment i would appreciate would be an adaptation to make the cupcake courier useful for mini cupcakes. otherwise, the product has held out fantastically and has been a great investment- no big complaints here! i would definitely recommend it.
