Customer Review: culliganb filters
Summary: 4 Stars

These filters do a good job of reducing odors & unpleasant tastes in my water.

Customer Review: Maybe I made the mistake, though I doubt it
Summary: 3 Stars

When I bought this I could swear it was advertised as universal for use with other water pitchers in addition to it's own which is why I bought it, but that didn't seem to be on the case or on this page when I came back. Anyway it doesn't seal when seated in the Pur pitcher. As a result there is seepage which probably compromises the filtering. I thought the water filtered with this tasted slightly better than the Pur filter did, but it also had a more metallic taste to it and it left black flakes in my water. At any rate I can't trust these filters to properly filter my water in my Pur pitcher.

Customer Review: Water Tastes Terrible - Don't Buy!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

I had been using Brita pitcher and filters for years before I decided to try Culligan's filters, which fit in the Brita pitcher. I can't find strong enough words to express my disappointment. This is the first time ever I am writing a review for a product online - and I am posting it to several sites. That's how bad it is - it's not easy to motivate me to write a review, but those filters did... The water taste is awful, AWFUL!!! When I first installed the filter, following the instructions, and trowing away the water from the first 3 pitchers, the water still tasted sour - like there were a few drops of lemon juice in it... We decided to be patient, so maybe after A WEEK of use, it stopped being sour, but still didn't taste good. Not even close to the Brita filter that we were used to... I opened a second filter from the three-filter box and it was the same - the lemony taste returned. I don't know what kind of tests have been run before putting that filter on the market, but I am afraid to use it anymore... Somebody should take those out of the market!!! I am curious what a chemical test will find in that water... I actually think that tap water tastes better than the water filtered with that filter... Yesterday I bought Brita filters again - and, Oh, what a difference!!! I am enjoying pure and tasty water again!!!

Customer Review: Water taste is bad initially!
Summary: 1 Stars

I got these despite everyones complain. But what others say is right. The water tastes terrible initially. I think one has to throw away 4-5 gallons of intial filtered water so the taste becomes normal. But after that it tastes good.
