A couple years ago I ate crepes in a restaurant in Paris and noticed they did their crepes on a similar crepe maker. I immediately wanted one, but knew if I got one in France, it would be 220 volt and not work in America. So I bought the spreader, and spatula and decided I'd see what I could find at home in the USA. The CucinaPro is FANTASTIC! Much better for making perfect crepes than any skillet or griddle I've used. And it comes with it's own spreader! I think it is great and so is the price!Customer Review: A GREAT griddle...

This product is terrific -- I bought it for a crepe party I was having for my 12 year old, figuring it would be useful for pancakes later on. As a crepe pan it worked very well, though the wooden spreader that comes with it doesn't work so well. But the thing is so lightweight and well insulated I just picked it up and spread the batter around that way. Worked really well. The heat is very even and it heats up really quickly. This crepe maker is not like a professional since it has a lip. However, for us this works well since we are not that experienced, and the batter consistency and TECHNIQUE has to be just right with a pro model, otherwise you will make a mess. So for us, this crepe maker works very well. We have used it quite a lot, and were more satisfied than expected. I sometimes wish we had two to produce a more in a short period of time for guests. I was skeptical on purchasing this electric griddle (CucinaPro 1448 12" Griddle and Crepe Maker). After the very first use I was completely sold on it and would recommend it. I was able to make perfectly round crepes in record time. It heats up faster than using a pan on my gas stove and it distributes heat evenly. Very Impressive! I've made crepes a few times now and tonight was pancakes, this griddle is simply amazing! So glad I took the plunge and purchased it.Customer Review: Wonderful

I received this item two days after I purchased it. It arrived securly packaged. This unit is study, heats up quickly, settings seem easy, and I made a perfect crepe on the first try. There was a receipe included but I found one easily on line. It is very easy to use and clean, especially since the spreader came with it. I love this item and had a heavenly dinner of Nutella Crepes & fresh strawberries!! I Highly recommend this unit.
