I love this product. I had the old fashioned crockpot and wanted something a little more up to date. I am really glad I chose this. Having a timer is great but the best thing about it is being able to put it on the stove and than directly into the base and start cooking. It saves on pans and it saves time. I like the versitility of this. Being able to brown on stove top with the difusser, then slow cook, saves time and work. Does a great job and the timer is very handy when it needs to stop before you get home. I LOVE TO COOK & THIS IS THE ULTIMATE. I LOVE THE VERSATILITY OF THIS CROCKPOT WHICH SURPASSES MY OLD ONES.THE WARM SETTING WORKS GREAT TOO.
I CANNOT IMAGINE WHY I WAITED SO LONG TO BUY THIS -FOR ALL IN ONE ROAST DINNERS & STEWS THIS IS THE PERFECT TOOL.

Used it a hand full of times now, and it works as advertised. It might be a *bit* more pricey than other options, but the timer built into it and the ability to throw the pot on the stove for browning your meat makes it all worth it. I LOVE my crockpot.
I'm not really using it for anything traditional, we used it 3 times in 2 weeks: Chili, Indian Stew, Chicken spicy soup. And we love everything.
One thing, you cannot brown yor meat very well since you're not supposed to go higher than med on the stove.
