I bought the Rival SCVI600B-SS Crock-Pot 6-Quart Premium VersaWare Slow Cooker about a month ago to replace a slow cooker that was about 10 years old, and the handles of which had broken and fallen off. The cooker is everything promised, and looks good on the counter as well. I particularly like the removable crock pot which can be used to brown foods directly on the stove top. Same features as a pot that I want but which costs twice as much

We returned another brand crock-pot in order to purchase the Rival SCVI600B-SS Crock-Pot 6-Quart Premium VersaWare Slow Cooker. This has been the best decision we have made in cookware. We no longer need to have other vessels available for stove-top browning, oven, microwave, or for refrigerator; because the vessel that comes with this crock-pot does it all. The name "Versa" truly underscores the versatility of this crock-pot. You have to try it!!!Customer Review: new fan

this is my first crock pot and i'm definitely a convert. it's so nice to come home to dinner being ready! after two dinners, my husband said this is the best $70 we've spent in a long time. so far i've made pot roast, corned beef, and sauce with sausage and meatballs - all three meals have been delish. i like that i can use it on the stove for browning meat and that i was able to stick in the the dishwasher after a light scrubbing.Customer Review: Fantastic Crockpot and a Great Buy!

I have used this pot quite a few times since I purchased it, and it is everything that it stated in the description. I am extremely pleased with this slow cooker as I am able to time exactly when I want my dinner ready. It washes very easily, but I do use cooking spray. I like that it is versatile, and I can brown meat and carmelize onions right on my stove top. It is a very healthy way to create meals. I love it!

This crock-pot has everything I was looking for. I love the sturdy stoneware pot and lid that can be used to start recipes on the stovetop, in the oven and microwave, attractive enough to serve in, and clean up easily in the dishwasher. The controls are simple and clear. It came with a collection of excellent recipes. The stews and chili's I've made so far have made a big hit!
