I used to make fun of these cooking machines. Now, I am a convert. Set it and forget it. How easy is that?
Recipe: some pork meat, sprinkle with dry onion soup mix, throw on a can of whole bean cranberry sauce. Set it on low for 8 hours. 8 hours later you have a delicious meal. There is plenty of juice, the meat is tender and great tasting. Yes, I am a convert.

I bought this item for my son who lives alone. He has had no problems with it and has used it many times. If high heat is used, the outside does get hot to touch but that is really no problem. This model is preferable over Rival's so-called automatic crockpots which get much too hot inside & out and do not automatically reduce temperatures properly.Customer Review: A good buy

After reading the reviews here and elsewhere, I decided on this Rival 3735WN 3-1/2 Quart Slow Cooker. I've used it several times now, and I am so happy I bought this. It replaced a crockpot that had finally gone out. This model made me realize that the old one was not working properly for years.
I wish I had bought this a long time ago!

I bought this smaller crock pot as I also have a 6 quart Crock Pot and sometimes the 6 quart is too big for some of my recipes. It works great and cleans up very easily. I think the removable stoneware was one of the best things they have done to improve the Crock Pot. I am a loyal Rival customer and have always been pleased with their products.Customer Review: Good value

This is my first and only slow-cooker, working well after a little more than 5 years. I don't lift it by the handles frequently, so I can't comment on the problem others have had with it. I haven't had problems with the lid. The nonstick removable pot is great. I wanted a basic, relatively inexpensive version, and I'm happy I got this one.
