I had tried to find my mother a good egg poacher for a long time. I was trying to find something that would fit inside her existing pans. I tried out some of those floating silicon cups, but they stick and you have to use a very large pot to get them to float. I finally broke down and decided to get something with a pan and I'm glad I did. ht e pan is very nice and surprisingly light weight. with a little bit of butter the eggs didn't stick at all. it's very easy to use and clean. My only complaint it the individual eggs can be a little difficult to get out since the individual holders get very hot.
