Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of CDN TM10L-R Digital 2-in-One Timer, RedCustomer Review: Cute little red timer Summary: 5 Stars
Excellent timer. Love the choice of lights, alarm and/or vibration. Also, it's hard to lose a red timer!
Customer Review: Awesome little tool Summary: 5 Stars
reliable and sturdy. You can't do better for the price. I would recommend it highly.
Customer Review: Good for meditation. Cheap, simple and versatile Summary: 4 Stars
Very very easy to use, clear display, versatile and very good value. I needed a second simple timer for meditation which was not too loud. I've looked everywhere and also have an Invisible Clock which is nice and quiet but quite fiddly and also expensive. I use the CDN in vibration mode and it's fits the bill nicely, though it needs to rest on something soft and padded to mute the sound a bit. In a pocket it's too strong. A drawback is that it goes on for around a minute and this isn't adjustable. But overall it's very good value and I guess it would be great for cooking etc. as you couldn't miss it going off! It also has a lighting up and a full sound mode and you can everything happening at once if you want
Customer Review: Time Travel Summary: 4 Stars
The read-out is a good size & the alerts-light,vibration,sound-are pretty good, but the vibration is weak. It's easy to set the time intervals. I use it to time my walking & also in the kitchen. It's a neat item EXCEPT that the clip is screwy; its design wasn't thought out; I think the clip needs to be reversed on the battery cover & the cover attached differently. As it is now, the timer is difficult if not impossible to clip securely to your belt, shirt, wherever. The clip, attached to the battery cover, slips off the timer. If the clip were fixed so it was secure & kept the timer secure, this would be a perfect little item.
Customer Review: Good overall Summary: 4 Stars
Pros:
-Can do hours and minutes OR minutes and seconds
-Flashes each time a button is hit or when time is off
-Numbers are big enough to see across the kitchen
-My personal pro: it's red!
Cons:
-Cannot do hours, minutes, and seconds all at once (which is not that big of a deal)
-Not loud enough
*Note, I did not test the magnet. I have had bad experiences with timers and magnets --they simply do not last on the refrigerator. I simply sit this on the counter.
