This pan has a wonderful "art nouveau" style that is both practical and beautiful. It is perfectly shaped for heating tortillas, and has good contact with my eletric stovetop. One other reviewer said it does not contact the element well; it seems to be perfectly flat on the bottom to me. It has the right thickness and shape even for cooking Indian naan or roti. It comes ready to season. Just wash, dry, and apply a thin coat of vegetable oil and you are cooking on the front burner!
