When I received this rack it took my husband awhile (in my opinion)to put it together. He said it was quite easy to assemble. So once it was put together it was more sturdy than I expected, which is a plus. However, my 5 1/2 shoes with heels are not big enough to stay on the rack. I simply put them under the rack on the floor and flats on the rack. SO, overall the product is good. Customer Review: Good Basic Shoe Rack

Now my shoe collection takes up less space and is more organized. I do wish there were more height between the levels (this also goes for the space between the lower level and the floor.): it would make it easier to distinguish between similar shoes at a glance, as well as allow the flexibility of being able to put "taller" shoes on either level or on the floor. Having more space between tiers would also make it easier to pull out shoes on the bottom without disturbing the ones on the top.

Before I bought this product I read the reviews. That led me to buy the product. Everything they said was true. Very easy to assemble (one screwdriver), very sturdy, very good looking and holds lots and lots of shoes. It is not a cheap wobbly rack, it is of good material and expands to hold at least eight pair or more of womens shoes. You can pay less, but these shoe racks will last forever. I liked this shoe rack. It was easy to put together and expand. My size 7 tennis shoes fit ok on it,
the only problem was my sandals didnt. I had to use plastic wrap on the rack to hold my sandals in place. Other than that, my shoes are organized now!

Assembled in 5 minutes, when fully expanded the rack holds 2 rows of 7 pairs of ladies (high heel) shoes... meaning that the rack holds a total of 14 pairs of shoes when expanded, with enough room between the bottom row and the floor for an additional row of shoes. I have shoes on the rack facing outward and the shoes on the floor under the rack facing inward. All in I can now fit 21 pairs of shoes nicely and neatly in a space that used to only fit 7 pairs. I purchased 2 of these and am very pleased. Ideal for female users. :)
