Customer Review: Palm Protection OK - No Protection for Back and Sides of Hand

The palm of this glove does provide protection against a hot pan, however the material of which the rest of the glove is made provides little or no protection for the rest of your hand. This lack of protection means bumping against an oven rack or anything else can cause a burn. This is not the level of protection I expect for kitchen work.
Furthermore the bottom of the glove is very narrow which makes donning the gloves difficult.
