I absolutely loved it. I am not a huge fan of the whole silicone bakeware, etc. But I really thought it was genius for the steamer. I also had metal-folding steamer and it was a pain to wash, but this I just stick in the dish washer or wash by hand. I had no issues getting it out of the pot as you can see in the pictures it will have folds away from the pot you can easily hold onto if needed. I have not tried it with a larger pan though. I loved that there is nothing sticking up in the middle if you wanted to spoon out contents. Also the silicone is a lot less hot than the metal, so after removing from pot you can hold it or it's sides while spooning vegetables onto a plate.
I have never reviewed a product before, but I always read the reviews on products when I can, so I wanted to add my two cents worth of praise for this product. This steamer is definitely an improvement on the old one, and makes my life easier.
