I always wondered what was so great about a salad spinner, now I know. Straight from the market, I wash a large bunch of romaine, chop it up and put it into the Chef'n Large, give it a spin, pour out the water and then simply store the lettuce in the spinner in the frig. Clean, crisp, cut up lettuce ready to use at a moments notice.
Oh, the manufacturer tapes the cover onto the bowl which leaves glue on the sides, needs some work to get off, a slight annoyance.
