I bought this waffle maker a few months ago and love it! It cooks quickly, is simple to clean, and makes the soft (yet crispy-on-the-outside) waffles I prefer. I get three full sized waffles from a recipe using one cup of flour and almsot one cup of buttermilk (among other ingredients).
The only shortcoming is that the wells are pretty small and shallow. But for what this waffle maker does, it does very well.

Purchased in June 09. Very happy with quality. Ease of use and ability to put it away in a small space. The directions for use are simple, the dial to make a little darker is a good feature. I like everything about this product. Have not figured out yet how to get them as crispy as the ones served in a resturant, but home cooked with such ease is fine by me. I've had this waffle iron for a couple of weeks and it's worked really well. I haven't encountered any sticking - the waffle comes out with ease. I've only tried the even texture setting and it's been very consistent. I do have it turned a notch below the recommended toasting setting as I find it's a little too crispy for my liking if I don't. I simply love this Chef's Choice waffle maker and think it can't be beat. It makes wonderful waffles, one after another, very quickly. The fact that it will stand up for storage is a great asset since it takes up little space. I have already gotten another one for a Christmas present. Love it, love it, love it!
