I bought this waffle maker as a gift for my sister. She loves it!!! Last year her husband had given her a waffle maker for christmas that was 3 times the price of this one. I had bought this same model for her. Since she had 2 machine, I kept it for myself. The $$$$ machine never worked, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the one I had originally purchased for her. So for her birthday this year, I got her the same machine. The variable adjustment is ideal. Everyone in the house can have waffles to their liking. The wraparound cord storage makes it easy to stand up in the pantry taking less room. The recipes included in the manual are delicious. I loved the idea of adding a bit of corn meal to make crispier waffles, they really are delicious. So not that I want to be creating any marital discord: but hehhhh, take that BIL!!!! My machine may be less expensive but it makes much better waffles!!!!
