Bought this for my wife a little over a year ago who loves soft and hard boiled eggs.
She loves this thing, and uses it nearly every week. It cooks up to seven eggs quickly without a lot of effort. The eggs come out very well with the right consistency.
It also has an ability to poach eggs which we have tried, and it works very well doing that too. It is easy to clean, and based on its longevity it has been well worth the price paid.

I never thought I would be praising the virtues of an egg cooker until I had an egg that had been steamed. Wow, what a difference. Even cooked to the hard state, both the white and yolk are melt in your mouth soft and tender. A completely different texture than you get with boiling. The steamed eggs are also easy to peel and this cooker doesn't require piercing the shell, like others do. Once you've steam eggs, you won't ever want to go back to boiling them.Customer Review: Easy To Use

Absolutely the best egg cooker out there....you don't have to measure the amount of water to cook the egg and you can use your cold eggs right out of the fridge. You just put in the water and slide the timer setting bar to the type of egg you want to cook. Its that easy and your eggs come out perfect. My husband loves soft boiled eggs on toast or soft poached eggs. They are perfect every time, no runny whites with this egg cooker.Customer Review: eggcooker

It is so easy to put eggs in the cooker and set the timer. I don't have to stand over the pot waiting for it to boil and time that, then time how long they sit in the water, and then how long they sit in the ice water. The #1 thing I like is how easy it is to peel the eggs. I make alot of deviled eggs for social events and I struggle over peeling them but with the egg cooker eggs it is so easy.Customer Review: 810 egg cooker

Great item. Actually, it was posted as an exclusive on the Williams-Sonoma Catalogue, when I called to place an order it was backordered all the way to January 16. I checked Amazon and there it was the same one at the same price. I ordered it on Dec.22 and got it Dec. 24. The cooker is fantastic is it cooks the eggs great and is very cute.
