I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it. I work in an office setting and wanted something that I could put on and not worry if I got distracted. I used to have a regular "hotpot" kettle, but if you forgot about it, the water would boil away (and I nearly did that several times). The auto shut off feature and the speed (I timed it to heat a cup and a half of water in about 1.5 minutes) are great. I can put the water on, put my tea bag in the cup, take a phone call and before I know it, the water is hot and ready to go. I've offered its use to anyone in the office that needs a quick cup of hot water that comes to a good rolling boil (vs. the microwaved version). This cordless electric kettle is wonderful! I use it to boil water for oatmeal, tea, sleep remedy of 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 tbsp honey combined in a cup of boiling water. Works great. It is so nice to have the auto shut off and the water stay hot for a long time. If you've ever noticed, every time you boil water in the microwave, it doesn't stay hot for long. With this cordless kettle, you can't go wrong - the water stays hot for a long time and you don't have to hear that annoying beeping sound every 1.5 minutes after it shuts off. Additionally, this cordless kettle does not emit radiation like microwaves do - so, it's healthier for you.Customer Review: 5 Stars AT LEAST!

I was looking for an electric pot. After visiting my friend one weekend, she had introduced me to the concept of using an electric pot by showing me hers. She said she never uses her regular coffee pot now that she has this one.

I love mine! Fast, efficient and even turns itself off when it boils. I just ordered two more...one for my mom and one for our family summer house. THIS IS ONE PURCHASE YOU'LL BE VERY HAPPY ABOUT...GUARANTEED!

I bought this to substitute for our stovetop kettle while we were renovating our kitchen and would living in the dining room and bathroom without a stove, but with a microwave. We knew we needed coffee! I love it! Fast heating, not too wide a profile, easy to bring to the table and won't take up a burner on the stove when we eventually get the stove reinstalled. Downside, it will take up space on the counter. The kettle on the stove was always spattered from the nearby saute pan. And I bought the stovetop kettle on eBay and found out it didn't have a whistle! This electric kettle turns itself off.Customer Review: Great pot

This was purchased to replace an older Cuisinart electric kettle. It works - there's not a lot of difference in the way any of these models operate. Pros - separate base, capacity window, attractive styling. Cons - lid opening is 4", which is a good size, but it does not separate from body (like my old Cuisinart), outside surfaces are hot (like my old Cuisinart; does somebody actually make an electric kettle where the outside DOES NOT get hot?) The lid opening will make a difference to folks who would heat other liquids than water.
Anyway, both thumbs up on this one.
