Customer Review: Finally, a slicer that produces thin lunchmeat

We have had several inexpensive slicers, all of which were a disappointment. This slicer, however, slices quickly and cleanly, is able to create extremely thin slices, and is very easy to use. Cleanup is, like most slicers, not much fun, but is more tedious than difficult. The 30 degree tilt makes slicing meats very easy, as it creates an almost self-feeding process. We have not sliced cheese or breads - we wanted it to slice meats. And what a job it does.Customer Review: Quality slicer

I've owned this slicer for about a year and it never fails to produce quality cuts. I use it a lot for slicing raw bacon since I make my own and even when the slab of bacon is still mostly frozen, the Chef's Choice 632 does a bang up job. It does a great job for light tasks such as bread slicing and cheese slicing too. It's easy to clean and put back together. For standard home use you can't go wrong. I chose this product based on the customer reviews. It was the only slicer I found that consistently rated five stars and now I would like to add my five star rating. My only surprise was that the "Vari-tilt" didn't vary, it locks either straight up and down or at a 30 degree tilt only. This is actually quite fine but the descriptions I had read led me to believe that the tilt angle could be varied (not necessary). I love it!Customer Review: Great kitchen tool that saves us money

Excellent for thin slicing beef and pork for Japanese and Korean recipes.
Buying thin sliced beef/pork in an Asian grocery is much more expensive
and time consuming.
The slicer is easy to use and easy to clean.
Also, impressed with the ease of slicing the beef despite being a
smaller version than what is typically used by grocery stores.
The VariTilt is recommended, if your budget allows.

We are so happy with this slicer. We use it everyday, slicing homemade bread, meat, veggies and lettuce. By using this slicer, we feel our food
stretches much further e.g. slicing bread thinner, slicing cheaper cuts of
meat. We feel we have not only cut down on food purchases but also eating
less since everything can be cut thin. We would highly recommend this
product.
