Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Chef's Choice 130 Professional Knife-Sharpening Station, PlatinumCustomer Review: The Best Kitchen Sharpener Ever Summary: 5 Stars
This sharpener is easy to use and very quick to sharpen. The instructions are clear and concise. Knives will sharpen with very few passes in the sharpening slot. AND THEY ARE RAZOR SHARP! In fact, there is an explicit warning included in the shipping package that knives will be sharper than you expect them to be. They are indeed!
Customer Review: Great Knife Sharpener Summary: 5 Stars
First learned of this on "America's Test Kitchen" TV show. We have used this for about 9 months and sharpen knives about once a month, sometimes more often, sometimes less depending on how often a knife is used. It is easy to use and does a great job-much better than hand-held sharpeners. Definitely on our "recommended" list.
Customer Review: Chef's Choice M130 Professional Knife-Sharpening Station Summary: 5 Stars
I had read in Cook's Illustrated that this was the best sharpener on the market and I truly love it. It's easy to use and after only a few swipes my dull-as-rocks Henckel's knives were razor sharp. It is definitely worth the price you pay as you only need to sharpen your knives once or twice a year. It should last forever!
Customer Review: Probably the best knife sharpener on the home market Summary: 5 Stars
Others have written more detailed reviews on this product. I was led to it by Cooks Illustrated, an entity that I highly respect, that rated it the best. I am very satisfied, after sharpening all my knives, that it is so. The instruction manual could use a thorough rewrite however. Perhaps a few illustrations might help.
Customer Review: M130 Knife Sharpening Unit Outstanding Summary: 5 Stars
I'm extremely pleased with the M130. Came out of the box and performed exactly as Cooks Test Kitchen said it would. Great price, free shipping on Amazon and no sales tax. I rest my case. Directions from manual very easy to follow. I will use the unit quite a bit as I've had friends bring over knives to see the results.
