I was skeptical of this product after reading some of the negative reviews, but so far I love it! I am using the two thermometers in two separate freezers; one in our indoor freezer and the other in a chest freezer in our garage. It took a few days to find a spot in the middle of the two freezers for the reciever, at first we kept getting an error message from one or the other. Now that we found a happy medium, it works great! I would definetly reccommend this thermometer!Customer Review: Inexpensive way to monitor temperatures

I purchased this item to monitor temps in a new freezerless refrigerator and upright freezer in my garage. I stuck the display unit on the freezer (strong magnets hold it on). I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've also got old-fashioned analog thermometers inside each unit and they closely track the digital display. Don't know how the transmit range is since I've got everything close together. For the price, I'm very pleased.Customer Review: Chaney Monitor

Purchased to monitor 2 freezers that are 60 feet apart. Though the manufacturer says that the display can be as far as 100 feet from the sensors I find that with intervening walls and doors the distance is reduced to about 40 feet. Found a convenient location half-way between both freezers and all works well. A great temperature monitoring system that can be used to monitor 2 freezers, 2 refrigerators or 1 of each.Customer Review: EXCELLENT product

Works very well. My only suggestion would be to switch the display. Currently the refrigerator display is on top and freezer is on bottom. \
To match with top/bottom refrigerator/freezers.
Of course you could just switch the sensors but then you couldn't use the alarm.
Otherwise works very well and I will get another for my other refrigerator.

This thermostat works perfectly for me. Some reviewers have documented their problems with loss of signal or complete failure to function. I have had neither issue as it worked right out of the box for me. I suspect that it has a lot to do with the design of the refrigerator whether the radio signals can get out of the steel box that is the 'fridge. I like this product.
