We bought this juicer because it is the only one recommended by the Gerson Therapy book 'Healing the Gerson Way'. We asked around and were told that the masticating juicers (like the Champion) are the only ones that produce a juice suitable for healing, that contains all the enzimes in the vegetables. The difference is noticeable, the fiber comes out very dry compared to a centrifugal juicer.
My skin is clearer after just 2 weeks of juicing and I'm feeling with a lot of energy even after a full day of work.
I recommend this juicer a lot!

This is the best investment towards my health i have ever made, period! It is a true workhorse and pulverises any fruit or vegie you put in there. I seriously can not say enough good things about this juicer, i was heitamt to buy it as it is quite a bit of money but seriously once you have this gem in your hands any doubts you ever had will be long gone. I juice atleast once a day now as is is just so easy, i have even made banana softserve in it and it is a million times easier than using the food processor, so get yourself one and cheers to better health!Customer Review: The best. I had a Champion quite a while ago, but ended up letting someone else have it. I replaced it with a JuiceMan -- big mistake. The Juiceman was a centrifugal juicer, and wasted a lot of juice -- not to mention it was a pain to clean up. I bought another Champion (for almost the same price I had paid 20 years ago) and I love it. It is extremely well-built and works perfectly. It weighs a ton, but hey, you need the exercise. I just got this juicer and its just perfect for us. I tried juices from my mother in law who has a centrifugal juicer. I liked those fresh juices and decided to get one for myself. After some research I got the champion and the juice is so much better. It is easy to clean and in black it fits perfect onto my black counter. This is defenitely one of the best, if not the best juicer we ever owned. My wife juices daily and we have a closet of "juicer skeletons". Now, this is not the best looking juicer but as soon as you use it the first time then you will fall inlove with its "juicing personality" Way to go
