Customer Review: Effective, but poor build quality and liable to break in shipping

This product is very handy if you have lots of wood floors and just need to dust a bit.
However, the bottom mop piece is flimsily attached to the rod with two plastic anchors.
I ordered this at first from Amazon as part of a combination set of dusters. It never came and I got a note from Amazon saying it was damaged in shipping by USPS.
I ordered again from Ambient and it was again damaged in shipping and broken when I opened it up. Again, obviously not the fault of the seller and pretty strange as I've never received a damaged item in shippping from Amazon or anyone else in years.
But looking at the construction of the mop from Casabella, I'm very skeptical that this would survive household use in any case (even beyond the fact that two dusters ordered could not survive even getting to my house...).
