I am using this unit to replace a heat/cool Frigidaire unit that was awful (had to repair after 1-1/2 years, was extremely loud, did not have an auto-fan option , completely gave out (compressor broke) after only 5 years).
Searched a long time to find a replacement that fit my existing sleeves. GEs and Friedrich's were too big. Did not want another Frigidaire.
I ordered from AJ Madison, but they lied about the ship date (sent an email claiming the unit had shipped, but when I called 2 weeks later about delivery, they said it was still backordered and would not ship for another week or more). I cancelled my order and tried to find another seller. None available in Houston. Finally called the manufacture and was immediately connected to a very helpful salesman who took my order on the phone at a great price with low shipping costs. The unit shipped the next day, and it was delivered to my door on the second day after shipping.
The air conditioner is extremely quiet compared to my old Frigidaire. You can set the fan on auto as well (so the fan runs only when the compressor runs) or you can run the fan constantly. The digital temperature setting is very nice, and the remote is also a great feature (I use this for my garage office).
Installation was easy in the existing sleeve. Includes all foam pads and seals for various sleeves, and instructions were very clear (different instructions for different sleeves).
If I could give it more stars I would.
