Customer Review: Lab can't jump over it

Finally, I found a dog gate that is tall and sturdy enough to keep my lab in the kitchen when we go out (he was from the pound and had crate issues and when he is alone, he tends to pee on the floor - the kitchen is much easier to clean up after that). We did have to use screws in the caps on the wall or he would just jump on the gate until it fell. This is just the best gate for us because of the height. My two year old, though, can lock the gate herself and tends to pinch her finger on the lock (minor pinch) when she does it. She can't unlock it, though, which is perfect.

I bought this gate to keep my 2 shih tzus in 1 area during the day. One of my shih tzus can jump really high so I was hoping this gate would be tall enough for her not to jump over. It definitely is and it's pretty sturdy even if you don't use the wall cups. I didn't want to screw anything into the wall so I opted not to use the wall cups since I wasn't using it at a staircase and it holds up very well. Even when the dogs run into the gate sometimes while they're playing or sometimes we bump into it, it hasn't fallen off yet. Great gate!Customer Review: Extra-Tall Walk Thru Gate

This product is perfect for our home. It was easy to assemble, is sturdy and safe for our dogs and grandchildren. The height is perfect for large dogs and just the right height for people to open without having to bend over. It also has a security latch if needed so small children can not open. The "cat door" at the bottom also makes our feline very happy! The price of the gate (we bought two) is much better than any of the other gate products I researched. We recently got a puppy and needed something to keep him out of certain areas of the house. We bought 4 of these gates knowing we would eventually need a tall gate when he got olden and these work great. We don't ow a cat so I can't speak about the cat door but we have had no problems with our goldendoodle getting though the gate. They were very easy to install and the latch works fine. The only small downside that I noticed is that carrying large things (such as a laundry basket) can be a little difficult.Customer Review: Works perfectly for us!

We needed a gate that would keep our dog out of a room where there were open litter boxes and was our cat's "escape the dog" room, especially some young kittens. The dog is large and can push over gates that are not firmly attached or jump up onto smaller ones. The swinging people door works easily and the cats loved being able to scoot through the cat door at any time. We use two of them in our house and my husband's comment was that this was one of the best things I've bought in awhile!
