I had purchased this set several years ago for my office.
Over the years some pieces disappeared so we needed to reorder. These are made in China the former (same brand) was made in Korea. These seem to be plastic that has been sprayed with chrome.
The former items are the same appearance but without the rough edges and they are heavier than these Chinese versions.
The overall feel is just a step up from plastic ware...I would suggest you look for something else even the low price does not warrant the purchase.
