This thing is an absolute BEAST. If you can't cut through just about anything in your Kitchen - either Home or Commercial - using this thing, then you are either cutting with horrible technique, or you're just too old to be hacking apart meat and bones.
It's a bit heavy, so that helps and hurts at the same time: better stability and Cleaving power; harder on the shoulders and forearms. But if you can manage to lift this thing repeatedly throughout your day, I don't imagine it ever failing you. It comes a little more dull than a Chinese/Japanese Cleaver, but that's because Asian Cleaver's sometimes double as Chef's Knives... this was not built for that purpose. This was built for Hacking apart the anatomy of your soon-to-be dinner.
Great deal, built well. Not for the weak however.
