It's actually fun to use since it takes the drudgery out of opening those nearly indestructible packages. It speeds up the process of getting to the prize! It works great on most plastic clamshell packages. I've only had trouble opening one or two diabolical packages that were irregularly shaped and had extra plastic strapping to hold the product in place.
